Dr. Gonzo Dr. Gonzo and his excellent team work hard to ensure that your experience at Dental Haven is a good one! We want you to feel informed and comfortable in your dental home.Dr. Gonzo was born in Colombia, South America. He completed his studies at Xavier University before moving to the United States. Once in the U.S., he attended University of Iowa’s Dental School and then completed his specialty training at the program of pediatric dentistry at the University of Maryland - Baltimore in 1989. Dr. Gonzo began his career in Kenosha, WI, continued on in Green Bay, WI and is currently practicing in Appleton, WI. He took over Dr. Fischer’s pediatric dental practice in 1998 under the name Dental Haven for Children. The name of the office has since changed to Dental Haven in 2016 with the addition of his daughter, Dr. Alexandra, who is a general dentist. When Dr. Gonzo is not at the office, he enjoys gardening, do it himself projects, going on mission trips through the local colleges, and spending time with his wife, Laura, and their four children. His 3 grandchildren are his latest joy and blessing. He is an active member of the Wisconsin Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the Wisconsin Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Institute for Growth and Development in Pediatric Dentistry.
